“Love has as many nuances as there are beings who experience it. “The fox who loved the books”, by Nicola Pesce. One of the sentences that struck me most in this delicate and sincere story. Three characters all different from each other, who despite their differences in thought, culture and life experience learn, through communication, to live and coexist peacefully. Rediscovering each other and rediscovering themselves, in a sort of introspective journey without ever moving from that refuge except at the end, to resolve and reconcile with their fears, their insecurities and their false beliefs. In this set I wanted to recreate this sweet fairy tale in an autumnal version: three singular creatures, Aliosha, the fox who loved to read, the little mouse with a good and pure soul, Musoritz and the gruff and apparently heartless crow named Pitza. Together, they converse amiably, compare notes and discover that they are not so different that they cannot tolerate and support each other. They sip some good kvas, the typical Slavic drink offered by Aliosha, and enjoy some biscuits. A blanket to keep warm on the harsh nights of the forest, and books that Aliosha collects and guards with great care.
